Guano Apes will rock the field on Saturday the 13th.

Tickets:

Availability:
It probably won't be sold out.
Chances for daily tickets are small. A few 2-day passes were available at the Festival office last year.
Prices:
3 Day Pass: 198 CHF (130€)
2 Day Pass: around 180 CHF (119€) (last year)

Place:

Greenfield takes place in Interlaken, Switzerland.

Interlaken lies in the Kanton Bern.

Interlaken is a very beautiful city due to the fascinating landscapes. It's one of the biggest touristic places in Bern. 'Interlaken' is Latin and means as much as "between the lakes". Interlaken lies between two lakes: the Brienzersee and the Thunersee.

The festival area is located at the Airfield Interlaken.

Travel Information:

By Train:
Regardless where you come from, you will almost always go via Bern Central station. From there you have at least every half hour a train that goes directly to Interlaken.

Important Note 1: Interlaken has two train stations: Interlaken Ost and Interlaken West. For the Greenfield Festival you have to get off at Interlaken Ost.

Important Note 2: If you buy a 3 Day Pass in Switzerland (!), you can use the Trains from Thursday, 11.06.09 until Monday, 15.06.09 for travelling to the festival area and back for FREE.

There are free shuttle busses from Interlaken Ost that will bring you directly to the camp site.

By Plane:
Switzerland has three major airports:
Geneva, Basel and Zurich.
The nearest airport would be Bern-Belp, but it's a small one. Chances are low to find a cheap flight to Bern-Belp.
So Zurich or Basel are probably the best choice.
From Zurich the train ride durates a bit more than 2 hours.
From Basel it's 2,5 to 3 hours.

Big bands like Green Day, System of a down, Die Toten Hosen, Placebo, Depeche Mode, Marilyn Manson, Slayer, Smashing Pumpkins and Linkin Park have already played there in the past
Greenfield has the biggest budget of all swiss festivals.

haha, Slipknot is playing at the moment and its raining like hell^^ im not that interested in them (and heres free internet Tongue

) but Korn (who played before them) were GREAT!!! A fuckin thrilling party in the rain!!

I screamed my soul out of my body when they started with Sugar Skin... i was so deeply stirred that i almost cried, lol Happy

During the gig, Sandra pointed a finger on me and said "Hey! I know you!" and then to Jasi "And I know you too!" and then to some strange guy standing beside us "Eh.. but i dont know you..." Big Grin

hihihihi.... i adoooore her Big Grin

And the crowd here is sooooo freakin out!!! They knew nearly all of the Apes songs and sang along all the time! Great people, great location, a lot of fun... i love this festival!!!

Really don't like the new Sandra look. She looks like any other popstar out there. Britney Spears, Aguilera or what the hell her name is...wtf, she used to be a kickass singer who doesn't care about fashion and shit. I mean, she always looked pretty and nice, but had her own style. Now it's like the promoters are dressing her.

@ Unknown - maybe we should create a topic about fashion/clothes/hairs (?) lol, since this one is pretty especific!

(Not that i agree with any of what you're saying... I think she kept a personal style, it just evoluted, or were you expecting that after almost 10 years she'd dress the same way? Do you?)

I mean, ok.. i have to admit i really dislike her sunglasses^^ but when she took them off, she was just breathtaking beautiful Happy
