In the early afternoon of March 10th, the official sites of Rock am Ring and Rock im Park announced that Guano Apes will join both of their festivals.
The Facts
Date
Friday 5th to Sunday 7th June 2009
Guano Apes will play on Friday, June 5th.
Tickets
Availability:
will probably be sold out soon. According to the news, they already sold over 100'000 Tickets!
Daily tickets are expected to be available a few weeks before the festivals start.
Price:
The 3-day pass costs 139 €,
daily tickets 75 €
Location
The festival is on a zeppelin-field in Nuremberg (Nürnberg in German). It's aprox. 150km away from Munich and Stuttgart.
Travel Information
By Plane:
Nearest airports are Nuremberg airport Link.,
Munich airport Link. or Stuttgart airport Link.
By Train:
There is a good connection to Nuremberg main station with Deutsche Bahn.
From Station to festival area you get by S-Bahn line S2 in 10 minutes - stops are "Frankenstadion" or "Dutzendteich".

Ok, what bands do you like from that day?
I prefer Korn, Placebo, Marilyn Manson, Dredg, Slipknot, Killswitch Engage, Enter Shikari, Staind, which happen to be all playing in the other days.
Actually, of friday, i don't like anyone except Apes

on friday I like
billy talent, peter fox, mia, the subways, kettcar, maybe limp bizkit ( I don't know yet...)
But the reason why I like friday is, that I don't have to go to school the next day after the apes show, so I can rock and sleep on saturday till one of the good bands starts in the afternoon 
and why don't you stay till saturday and see korn, marilyn,...

it's likely that RaR will be sold out earlier than RiP, but actually RiP is smaller (& they sell less tickets)
RaR already published a countdown on their page (i think only 2000 tickets left by now), but for RiP there seem to be enough tickets

aaaaah i first thought guano apes would play on the same day like korn, manson, killswitch and papa roach... argh
but on friday, theres honestly no other band thats worth watching or wasting my time. Damn this sucks.

yeah, they really should^^ sure one of the best bands beside Apes 
unfortunately they're not headliners :/ (the line-up list is orientated by the running order of the festival)
@ Nadine: ok, you're right^^ at least we can concentrate on the Apes that day and won't bother about
missing other good bands

Rock am Ring is sold out, but he is asking about Rock am Park and there are available tickets for that one (according to the official website).
There won't be any day tickets this year :\

Daily Tickets will be sold on-site at the Info/Servicecenter for 75 Euros - the location of the box office you can find in the center of this map
Running Order, Friday - Centerstage
21:30-23:00: Limp Bizkit
19:20-20:50: Billy Talent
17:50-18:50: Guano Apes
16:30-17:20: The Subways
15:25-16:05: The All American Rejects
14:30-15:05: New Found Glory
The use of public transportation in the Nuremberg area is free from Thursday (today) till Monday for everyone whose got a 3-day festival pass.

woo-hooo.
We're in Nürnberg in an Internet-café currently because we missed the last train back home^^
Good thing is, we bought 3-day-passes for less money than daily tickets (some desperate Austrians wanted to get rid of them)
So we might go back to Munich in the morning, sleep a few hours and then return to the festival to see some other bands.
Concering the gig: it was SOOOOO HARD to get into the first row!! Damn!! It was really big luck that i managed to get to the front... we were standing very outside, though...

I must say I totally enjoyed the concert!! Many people say the sound wasn't good and it was too quiet, but i loved it

The gig was short, but that is what we expected... they disappeared very abrupt, though...

ok, here the most important facts as a summary:
1. Sandra has changed her hairstyle. Different cut and color. Looks.... well, different °___°
2. Dennis has got an awesome bassdrum head
all white with the fancy monkey on it. Looks great!
3. Songs they left out were Stay, Sing That Song, Big In Japan, Sugar Skin (again .__.) and All I Wanna Do.
Diokhan was rrrrockin the hell out of us, damn!! They kinda jammed at the end of it and that was AWESOME!!! Sandra growled and shouted like in old times
4. Stude is sooooooooooooooooooooooo cool
really, lol...
5. They didn't play Cuts! (although Sandra promised it... tz tz 
)
6. Merchandise was sold there. The black girlie-shirt has indeed a pink print (and i thought it is magenta or red^^) and is uhm.. very short cut! Large size reaches till the middle of my belly, loooool...
7. Nothing can top Sofia

So, with that 5 songs taken away, concert was less than an hour, probably...?
Oh, so merch is that weird? Thank god i didn't bought it online eheh! Probably boys tees are longer!
(LOL, nor still or already, i had a 3 hour sleep the night before - working - so when i arrived home at the end of the afternoon i went for a nap, and just woke up at 1 am, and what i decided to do? Edit and post Sofia pictures until 3 am.
And we all wished to be there too!!!)

What?! How can you even write something like that? First, it does fit her so that she is in fact wearing them! You can say that YOU don't like it but that's about it in my book... And dragqueen-look?! What the f*ck was that about?! That's even disrespectfull... Jeasus christ may have pity upon your soul. (LOL)
Seriously, she is getting older and it's only natural that she wouldn't feel good wearing those skatepants and such forever!! (duh) Just get over it and respect her choice... i'm not a girl and even i don't feel good wearing that stuff anymore so... (oh and i have 10 years less than Sandra)
And by the way i love that she is always trying new styles, (be it in music, clothes, haircuts/hairdos, whatever) it's refreshing and that's one of the things that made me fell in love for her. 
Finally, i do agree that the hairdo doesn't do justice to her gorgeousness (
) - although it has some charm - but that's about it.
P.s- as much as i (also) loved her "gangasta" look, it's only good that she is evolving, otherwise, wouldn't she be like trapped in time? 
And at least she is not even near (and never will be
) to be taking her clothes off to sell like many..!!
