@ Electric_Nights: 1-day-tickets will be available in May (there is no information about it on the Nova Rock site, but in the forum the promoter of the festival confirmed that)
We'll try to look up a flight connection for you!
Wow, cool that you're willing to travel to Nova Rock from so far away

And do you know what's the cheapest way to get to Vienna from St-Petersburg,Russia? If you could help, it could be awesome!
Maybe plane to Berlin, and from Berlin...for instance..to Vienna
Thanks) |
Are you gonna travel with bagpack (checked luggage) and just a small bag??? It's important to know that, because of cheap fares are always without checked luggage and if you try to enter aicraft with bigger bag, they will send you to desk to check your luggage and pay about 50 EUR for that... Then I will tell you cheapest way how to get to Austria...

I don't think that the weight of our luggage will be too big)
About the flight-we thought it could be nice to fly from St-Petersburg to a German city (for example to Berlin) -plus I heard the flights to Berlin are more cheap than to Vienna..and then to Munchen and to Vienna by bus or car (it may take maybe 3 days before Novarock) and toooooo the festival)
And on the way back flying from Vienna (directly)..
That's like a good example of our methods of reaching the festival)
I don't know-is that a normal way?)

Yes, that's why we heard about Berlin as a good possibility..plus I want to see Berlin again))
I don't know why but the flight St-Petersburg-Vienna is one of the most expensive here)
Thank you for the attention and your help

So..maybe that is the way:
St-Petersburg - Berlin (flight) 18.06.
Staying at a hostel in Berlin (can you advice smth.)
Berlin-Munich 19.06 (by car,hitch-hiking I guess..you know I heard, that there's smth. like special sites where you can find a driver, that' s ready to pick you?...)
Having a day in Munich, staying at a hostel
And meeting with you and going tooooo 20.06...))) if it's ok-it could be really great))
Then rock on!)
And then 22.06 going to Vienna and from Vienna to St-Petersburg (flight)..
If so what's there?....

Of course you can find any driver but you have to pay him
That's why these sites exist... If you go by bus to Riga, fly to Prague and then by bus to Vienna (only up to 5 hours), you'll pay about 200 EUR total incl luggage

And it's not 100% sure that we'll go by car, we might also do hitch-hiking... there are also offers from Munich to Vienna for ~20 € per person.

Ok,thanks for your help)
I'll search for...
And even if so, it could be nice to meet in Munchen and go to Vienna and Nickelsdorf. If we'll go hitch-hiking do you want to stay for a day in Vienna before fest or no?
Won't you mind if we'll keep in touch by e-mail later?

If I hadn't already bought a ticket for AC/DC on the 21st in Gothenborg I would defenitly go to Nova Rock. This is no doubt the best festival this year. Names like Metallica, Guano Apes, Trivium etc gives me an erection. I'm still considering to sell my AC/DC ticket and go to Nova Rock instead. Damn...great dilemma!

But festival is still great

huh? You paid 5 € for beer @ RaR or what? Well i think it's a good thing.. 1 € or 5 € makes indeed a difference and at Nova Rock you are not allowed to take any liquids with you, so have to buy something to drink soon or later... sucks if it's that expensive then...
