Hello my dear Apes!
I have a question about this Woodstock festival. Is it confirmed that it will be free? I read it here on the Forum that there'll be no tickets, but on the other hand I couldn't find any info on their website. I'm planning to go to Benatska Noc, then Woodstock and then Szene Open Air to see my gods. Probably I will sleep in my tent during these festivals, so I just wondering how is it gonna work on Woodstock.

Like said KaMaD Woodstock is totally 100% free
Better is came there earlier than 31 July, for a atmosphere and to find tent place.
On Woodstock play max 8 band's one day, and they give full perfomance -1.30 hour or 2 hour's like Clawfinger last tyear for example ! It's not like on the other's festivals (15 band's for a day), where every band play 30' or 1 hour max

Michael Lang yeasterday official tell that 40th Woodstock Anniversary will be at Woodstock in Poland ! He will be cooperator of Polish Woodstock !
There will be also in Academy of Beauty Art tent meeting with LECH WALSA - everybody should know who is this person

On www.wosp.org.pl will be special site with broadcast. On TVu can see it live only on TV OWSIAK (polish satellite channel on hotbird but u must pay for it - is coding channel)

Hi there, people. I have one little tiny problem. All sites for trains are in Polish, which I think it's impossible to speak, but this is other problem
So my question is, how to go to Kostrzyn (rly how you pronounce this o0 copy-paste ftw
) from Warsaw or Berlin. I prefer from Warsaw becouse my bus ticket it's ~40-50 Euro cheaper to there (I'm from Sofia Bulgaria, and missed GA show here *killing himself*).
Other thing that I am wondering about are the tents. It's absolutely for sure that we don't need to pay for camps and so. But what are the prices of the showers, toilets and those kind of things. Actually if there is someone from Poland, I want to ask how much money I need to have for a week in Poland, only for food.
And if someone give us the normal prices for the most important things like beer and food (yes in this order
) it will be very nice.

I was on Woodstock a few times. Trains U can check on this site (is in english too): http://rozklad-pkp.pl/ . I'm going by train from Warsaw to Woodstock at thursday (30.07.2009) so u can go with my polish team.
So toilets and showers are total for free.
Some tips for polish trip:
You must go to exchange office in Warsaw and exchange Euros to Polish Zloty. Example, if u exchange 10 euros, u will have 45 zl.
Beer on Woodstock cost about 3 zl (0,70 euro). Dinner (potatos, chop, salad),pizza in polish fastfood bars cost about~15 zl (~4 euros), hot-dog about 3 zl (0,70 euro). So if u will have about 200 zl (45 euros) u will be king on woodstock
If u buy food in polish supermarkets will be more cheaper than fastfood.
Examples
- Bread - 2 zl (0,40 euro)
- Corned-beef - 3 zl (0,70 euro)
- Butter - 3 zl (0,70 euro)
